Hollowing under the eyes can make you look tired even when you’re not. A carefully placed hyaluronic-acid filler can restore the support that’s been lost, softening the shadow between the lower lid and the cheek.

The under-eye is unforgiving of poor technique — the skin is thin and the anatomy is delicate. That’s exactly why at Amara this treatment is doctor-only: Dr Paul assesses whether your under-eye will genuinely respond to filler (not everyone’s will — sometimes the cheek needs support first, and sometimes we’ll advise against treating at all).

Am I suitable for tear trough filler?

Not everyone is — it depends on skin quality, the cause of the shadow, and the support in your mid-face. Dr Paul assesses this honestly at consultation, and if filler won’t genuinely help, he’ll tell you and discuss alternatives such as polynucleotides.

Will it look natural?

The goal is a rested version of you, not a changed face. Under-eye filler is placed conservatively; it’s always better to build gradually than to overfill this area.

How long does it last?

Typically 12–18 months, though this varies from person to person.

What does it cost?
