ZO Skin Health Exfoliating Polish — available at Amara Clinic DublinExfoliating Polish

Instant smoothness — the twice-weekly reset.

What it is

A physical exfoliant with ultra-fine magnesium crystals that smooth the surface and brighten instantly. Used a couple of times a week, it clears the build-up of dead cells that leaves skin looking dull and stops products penetrating.

Who it’s for

Most skin types, used in moderation — especially good for dull, rough or congested skin. Not for daily use, and best avoided on active, inflamed breakouts.

Key ingredients

How to use it

Two to three times a week on damp skin, massaged gently for a minute, then rinsed. Follow with your serums — they’ll absorb better on freshly polished skin. Always SPF the next day.

Dr Paul Munsanje, Amara Clinic

Dr Paul’s take

A little goes a long way. The mistake people make is over-scrubbing — twice a week is plenty. Done right, it’s the fastest way to make skin look instantly brighter before an event.

Common questions

How often should I use ZO Exfoliating Polish?

Two to three times a week is ideal for most people. Daily physical exfoliation can irritate the barrier — more is not better here.

Is it a scrub or a chemical exfoliant?

It’s a physical (mechanical) exfoliant using fine magnesium crystals — gentler and more even than most gritty scrubs.
